Hi Pippino!

Not from all 3D programs, but for example the freeware "Pose-ray" can import
the Wavefront.OBJ format.
Please write, what 3D application you currently use. If you're asking what
you can use, a lot of people would recommend "Poser" ($ 200) or Wings3D ($
0).
But it will almost always follow the line:
modeller -> importing program -> POV-Ray

I know only of two programs that can export directly to POV-Ray
and these are Wings3D (with a plugin to be downloaded seperately) or
Milkshape (shareware $20).

Yours,
Bu.

Blender can import from most other modelling programs, and with the
PovAnim plugin can export objects, scenes, and even animations to
POV-Ray. For some formats there exist direct conversion programs.

"Your program will then run correctly," replied the master.

Create your object, and then go to > Object > Export > Name it > choose
" Wavefront [*.obj] " > save it in your intended project folder. Open
Poseray and hit "Load 3D model". Navigate to your .obj model that you've
just created in Anim8or.

Then, when the model has opened, add your materials, geometry, lighting,
camera etc., (if you want to at this time, you don't have to, because you
can edit these files later in your project folder), and then hit > Povray
output > Export files, or > Export & render files.

You should now have a .pov file in that folder that you can now open
and render.

      Good luck!

      ~Steve~

Poseray. Have you got it installed?

After loading your model in Poseray, hit "Povray output" on the top
bar, and then "export files". Navigate to the folder that you've just saved
them in and open the povray file.

Ah, just thought of something. You might have the latest version of
Poseray, which I believe has a different layout. Anyway, I think it's the
same procedure, so you shouldn't get it wrong.

    ~Steve~

Geez, are you completely helpless?
Google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=poseray&btnG=Google+Search
