I downloaded POVray for the first time this week. I can not seem to get it
to load. I am using a MAC with OS 9. When I open the program, it starts
to load, when it gets to "loading libraries" It just sets there. My
computer in not frozen, the program just will not continue to load. I let
it set for about a hour once, and nothing changed. I need some help with
this please...

Hi
Err sorry, I can't help you but did you try to post this question on
povray.macintosh on the same server?

As Marc said, you are more likely to get Mac specific help in
povray.macintosh.

Make sure you downloaded the right version of POV-Ray, not the 10.2
version. It will also help to give the exact OS and library versions you
have, and any non-standard stuff. I also suggest you look through the
older messages in *.macintosh, in case others have had your problems.

Anyway, you would probably have most success with MacMegaPOV, which has
been a bit less prone to trouble than the official version:

Thanks for the advice. It does look like others have had this problem as
well. I did down load MacMegaPOV, and it seems to work fine.

Thanks again,
Gary
