Depends on what resulting format you want. Avi, Mpeg, etc.
Also, the starting image format is important to consider for differing
encoders.
Free, shareware, commercial are another consideration.
You might do well to check the list of links at www.povray.org then POV
LINKS and finally 3D Animation Utilities. The descriptions there might be
enough to go by.

Please consider others when filling in the "Subject" line of your messages.
These two questions are the sort of thing that a new user would ask, and
would want to have an answer too. When looking in the NG for an answer
before posting a question about a lightbulb "Newbie question", doesn't
give any hint as to what the question is, neither does "Another question".
Also try reading the documentation, which answers your first question
and previous posts on this news server, which I'm sure would answer your
second question.
