Hello,
I have an isosurface object over plane in scene with many area_lights.

Plane has finish { ambient 1 diffuse 0 }
so there is no sens of calucating ray shadows that could be casted on plane
by isosurface object.

1. how can I tell POV to ignore all shadows that are casted on this object
(plane)
2. does POV automaticly ignores all shadows for object with diffuse 0 ?
3. this plane alsow doesn't use phong,specular etc, so *all* light
calulation for it can be ommited - does POV do it (for speed reasons ?)

I cannot use shadowless light's since I *want* isosurface object to shadow
itself, and I cannot use no_shadow for plane (as it would make diffrent
result that I want).

Scene is :
light_source { ...   }
plane { y,0 finish{ambient 1 diffuse 0}  }
isosurface { ... }

TIA

light_group {/*Lights And Isosurface*/}
plane {y,0 pigment {rgb 1} finish {ambient 1 diffuse 0}}

I'd guess that diffuse has nothing to do with shadows. But only a guess.

thanks :)

Object with diffuse 0.0 will always diffuse color rgb 0 light (no light),
no difference is it standing in front of strong light_source, or is it
hidden behind some object (that would cause shadow).
