When installing I get an error message that states "This installation does
not support your processor type. Contact your product vendor."
My processor in an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.0Ghz with hyperthreading and 512mb
RAM. My operating system is Windows XP Home Edition.
Any suggestions?

Which version of POV-Ray did you download?

Looks like you are trying to install the 64 bits version, the P4 is a 32
bits CPU.
To install the 64 bits version, you need a 64 bits CPU running Windows 64.
