Starfield3

}

Starfield3 is a texture. sky_sphere syntax require pigment of previosly
declared identifier of sky_sphere type. Moreover there is no
#include "stars.inc".

I appreciate the fast response. Thank you.

(I did have the statement '#include "stars.inc"' in the pov file.)

So should I attempt to construct a sky_sphere type that contains the
Starfield3 texture defintion? If that's possible I'd appreciate all the help
I can get to do that.

No. Texture is NOT allowed within sky_sphere definition. Pigment is allowed
there. Look into POV-Ray manual. If I remember correctly there is a tutorial
about sky_sphere object. Manual also lists allowed items in sky_sphere{...}
syntax.

Thanks for providing that link. I've solved my problem by going with a big
sphere rather that try to do anything with the sky_sphere.

And, Warp, I'm really not ready for that macro. :-)
