hi!

Interesting idea, bad post....

Please post files to binaries.misc for cases like this, and explain in your
general post what you have done and where to find the file.

Also, you appear to have multi-posted - another no-no, particularily when
combined with the binary...

I would suggest you cancel these posts, post the file to binaries.misc and, in
the case of the message, a single post to povray.general will probably be enough
(it's the most widely-read group).

Forget where you're posting, Tom? ;-)
Lars: As has been mentioned, posting binaries to non-binary groups is a
definite no-no. It would be better to upload the image to a web site or
post the image to povray.binaries.images, and then post a message
referring to it in the appropriate group, in this case probably
povray.general or povray.advanced-users. Also, do not multi-post,
posting the same thing to multiple groups. It wastes server space and
bandwidth, the copies of the message show up even if a person has
already read it in another group, and it breaks up the discussion among
all the groups involved. If it really pertains to multiple groups, it is
better to cross-post.

Huh...did that before replying, just to be safe. For some reason my
newsreader didn't pick it up. Well...I guess I now recommend
povray.binaries.misc.
