Hi....

I'm finally beginning to figure out enough stuff to make some more advanced
scenes. I am trying to get a good 'dust' effect in the path of a spot light.
Sort of the look you get when you shine a flashlight through dusty air. I
have played around witrh media but can't come close to the effect I want.

Thanks

There are some media examples that came with the program that illustrate
the way to use spot lights to create the effect you are looking for. I
forget which is which but the file names start with media1.pov, media2.pov
etc...

You should also check out this online tutorial. It really helped me get
the hang of scattering media when I first started using the feature and
it should help you too -
