Hi Zhekai and welcome.

You have to define the background as transparent.

For instance: background { colour rgbt <0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0> }

Or better still to use the sRGB standard
background { colour srgbt <0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0> }
