POV-Anywhere is a system for distributing POV-Ray renders on several 
computers.  It has a modular design, is easy to extend and should run on 
most computer platforms where a bash compatible shell and some basic 
Unix tools are available (on Windows you will need Cygwin).

New features in version 0.2 are:

- support for animation renders.
- a status script generating a summary of the current status of the 
POV-Anywhere system (an example can be found on the website).
- an email communication module that allows distributing renders between 
several computers without a shared file system.

The email module is the most important addition in this version, it has 
become quite complicated and it does not yet handle all situations 
perfectly so it might be necessary to reset it manually when things get 
messed.
