I found a bug in the surface subdivision macros.  The macro that 
appeared to fix the face winding issue was only pretending to work, and 
in fact was messing up meshes that didn't need any changes.  This macro 
has been sacked, and I've a new one to replace it.

LionSnake is now in version 1.7.7.  Changes since the last version:

# In addition to hiding the marked portions of the mesh, you can now 
hide the unmarked portions as well.
# When mesh objects were marked and hidden, they remained marked. This 
left them subject to any subsequent transform operation, which is 
probably unwanted behavior. Fixed.
# When creating a model from an existing .obj file, the edges were not 
immediately built. This caused a crash if subdivision preview was turned 
on in this state. Fixed.
