There have been a lot of changes to 4.00, even the GUI has been changed a
bit
(using the new Powerbasic-Forms 1.5 Designer :-). Here are some of the
changes:
1. New communication engine in both: RenderAgent and SMPOV-Main. Supports
WAN Rendering via Foldershare or other "Sync based networks". The new engine
has a central Job-Control. Each renderAgent has to ask for a Job first.
There is a new button, if you check it, you get a logging of the
communication.
- Scripting Interface enables you, to make SMPOV automatically render
(Script-Job-)files that appear in the new COM\AUT-Folder OR that are given
as a commandline-Parameter.
- POV-Settings.exe was not working properly since an ealier update and has
been repared.
- Increased Stability under several difficult circumstances.
- Some new controls for Logging, Sleep-Times etc.

Download-Link changed for SMPOV and all other downloads from
www.it-berater.org .
For technical reasons ALL Downloads have not been avaibale for some time
today,
including SMPOV 4 etc..
Actually the download should work as before.
HOWEVER ALL "direct" download-links have changed.
If you link to the SITE (see below), all Links stay as before.
If you have linked to the FILE, the Link may have changed, please get the
new Link.
Please report me any problems with the new download system.
