I've used POV-Ray on a Unix machine and it worked perfectly. Now I can't
even get a simple demo file to go past the compile stage, even though it
was a .pov file as seen here: http://celbalrai.dynip.com/~alice/desktop.jpg
I'm running it on a 266MHz beige G3 with 96 MB memory and OS 9.2.2.

                                                                Alice --
please help me edit my profile

Go to the menu 'Edit' >> 'Preferences" to open the POV-Ray Application
Preferences dialog.
Choose the tab "Scenes" and add the include folder.
This should get you started.

Of course, reading the manual might help sometimes!

Thank you so very much. When I said that I needed help for my profile
editing, I meant that I'd like to input "Alice" into my first name, instead
of no-mail and have no clue how to do so on the forum.

Alice -- please help me edit my profile

Oooops, my mistake :-)
Sorry, but I can not help you with that.
Post in the group general or a direct mail to one of the tag-team
members.
