Can Povray read from a serial port?

I am working on a tangible user interface (toy) that sends an angle
parameter via the serial port. Can Povray read directly from the port?
I am using Povray 3.5.1 on OS 9.2.

Otherwise, I would write an ini file, from which Povray can reference.

Thank you. Markus.

No. You will have to get the data into some form POV-Ray can read first.
I suggest you look at the file I/O commands.

Maybe with some extremely funky way of mapping port data to a file-like
thingy?
