I've been using DTA on the PC to make movies from POV output frames
(targa files.) Is there something comparable on the Mac that will
animate pict files or some other native POV format?
Thanks much,
.D

Dennis,
For POV-Ray Mac there are 2 possibilities... You can use Eduard
Schwan's great shareware utility MooVer, to be found through
http://mac.povray.org, or you can use the built in feature of POV-Ray
3.1 and higher, to render into a QuickTime .mov-file right away. The
first method I've always used, the second I must admit I still have to
try for myself :-)

See the documentation "POV-Ray MacOS Read Me" in the Documentation folder.
It tells you how to create movies (directly with POV-Ray).

Other's have mentioned MooVer and POV-Ray itself...
If you have OS8.5 (or otherwise registered QuickTimePro), then "Open
Image Sequence..." in the Quicktime Player....
Have Fun
