  Yo voto por ruido, parece que no hay muchas alternativas. "Funcion de
ruido" por ejemplo, suena bien.

Yes, but it's also used in 2D programs, and it's the exact translation.

  Yes, in the same way as "noise" on english.... :) Today it used very
often related to vision, like for example the "noise" of TV not tuned.

una TV sin sintonizar.)
