I've just tested the Unicode support in V3.5.
It works well for unicode ttf fonts as well as ttc fonts
although it requires some utilities to convert system
charset to utf8 charset.

The file size of the ttf fonts in that image is too big to send
by e-mail (and it might not be free).
As Gilles pointed out, you can use arialuni.ttf if you have it.
If you don't have, free fonts (minp*.ttc and gotp*.ttc) are availavle from
http://www.dynalab.co.jp/download/demo/kakou.html
Those fonts have only basic characters but it would be ok for the test.

Is it arialuni.ttf or arialni.ttf ?
I have arialni.t but not arialuni.ttf.
