Hello. Is it possible to configure Povray 3.7 so that the line numbering
in the editor is not temporary?

Not that I'm aware of.
The editor is a Windows thing, not an actual POV-Ray thing, and this has been a
long standing issue/complaint.

The best recommendation is use an external editor and command-line interface to
have POV-Ray render that file once saved.
