Hi,

I'm using macros in the POV scene language with sometimes more than 10
parameters for complex objects. During text editing, it becomes rather difficult
to use these macros, and I have to be very careful to keep track of the
parameter sequence.

In e. g. visual basic, the editor assists me by "overlaying" the name of the
parameter at the position of the cursor within the brackets of the macro, if you
understand what I mean ...

Any chance that there is something similar or useful in the POV editor?

Thanks!

You might be interested in what Mike is doing with the Visual Studio IDE
(check the "POV In Visual Studio Update (Has Screenshot)" thread in
off-topic). It's at an early stage but looks exciting.

Yep.. something like that is in the works for the Visual Studio editor.
I've already got it scanning identifiers, and am working on the context
system now. Once I get it so the parameter help, and suggestion lists
are available (and show mostly meaningful suggestions) , I'll put it
somewhere to download.
