I know that emitting media effects radiosity, but does it effect SSLT as well?

Does the emission keyword in media operate the same way as the new finish
attribute?

Emissive media, those with emission, act exactly like some high ambient
or emission finish.

I don't beleive that, presently at least, illumination from media nor
ambient/emission from a finish have any effect on SSLT.
You could do a test by placing emissive media or a high ambient object
inside an object using SSLT.
