I meant 1024x1024, not 1024x124.
Anyway, I just did a test using the same equirectangular image, and
PTViewer is noticably more choppy. However, this may be due to the fact
that its default panning speed is faster, and therefore the screen needs
to be redrawn more frequently. Also, PanoSalado doesn't render
equirectangular images as nicely: there are lots of wavy lines that
don't exist in PTViewer.
