According to ChrisB my Galaxy scene on the object collection takes 8.5 hours to
render on a 3gHz quad-core. It takes less than 10min on the same settings on my
PIII 500mHz. with Pov 3.6

When I tried 3.7 beta, it came to a standstill. Is this a Beta problem? Or is
there something wrong with my code?

Wow! I never thought of trying it back on 3.6. Now I have I take back what I
said about it being too slow for animated scenes.
I guess it must be something about the beta.
