i have modified a program originally called mapgen.cpp

it uses a plasma fractal algoritm and now creates a

400 by 400 gray image useful for heightfields.

i have compiled it with the c compiiler djgpp

and the graphics library allegro.

i have made other enhancements.

i would like to credit the original poster of this program.

it was in the povray links section maybe 4 years ago.

i would then like to release the program code and executable

to the povray community.

any help or comments on these activities would be appreciated
