How do you register to contribute objects to the collection
(http://lib.povray.org/contributeobject/). The link to the register page seems
not to be working.

Hi, You're right there was a problem.
If you try again now it should work.

Great! I'm registered now and have submitted my first object,
"AxesAndGridMacro". One thing I noticed while submitting the object was that
the "mcr" extension is not recognized. I downloaded a library of macros that
all used this extension instead of "inc", so I thought the extension was in
wide use. Is this not the case?

I don't know how widely it's used, but it is used, so I've added 'mcr' and
'mac' to the list of acceptable file types for the POV-Ray Object
Collection.
