  3.6.1c installer returns file size error (Message 1 to 3 of 3)

downloaded the installer from http several times, am consistently getting
the following error when trying to run the installation exe :

i guess i'll stick with the old 3.6.1b for now ^^

Version : 3.6.1c
OS : MS Windows XP SP2 x32
CPU : AMD Athlon XP 3200+ (32-bits, running default 2.20 GHz)
Memory : GeIL Value PC3200 2*512 Mb (Dual Channel)

....what is it with me and "32", looks like a bloody curse...

Your download is corrupted. Make sure you actually do download the file
rather than getting it from your local browser cache. If you do not know how
     to clear your browser cache, try another browser or another computer.
Also make your you get the file directly rather than from a proxy server.
See your internet service provider setup information how to disable the
proxy server use, _if_ one is used.

I don't use a proxy server, and cleared cache several times, as well as
actually downloading it. I think my Windows got buggy, because a restart
fixed both the download (http) and my inability to access your FTP server.
weird..
But I'm good now, thanks for your help !
