Does each entry's needing to be "distictly different" refer more to the code
or the resulting image? Does the code need to be un-related for multiple
entries?
Thanks,
Charles

There are no limitations placed on how you use your multiple entries.
Having said that, I doubt if your fellow judges will view slight variations
on a theme with great interest ... but I may be wrong.
Hmmm I suddenly realise someone may choose to tell a short story with their
4 entries.

You have defined: "each entry must be distinctly different."
Well, distinctly different really doesn't need to be interpreted
stronger than simply different.
If you take a look at results of Round 3 you can see entries,
which might not be called "distinctly different".

That should be enough motivation. Do not bore the judges...

Yes, that may even go against that rule but nevertheless be interesting.
Bye, Olaf.

I had the same problem, I wanted to submit 2 images that were day & night
versions of similar scenes, the images were distinctly different but the
code was almost identical! In the end I decided to abandon one of them and
submit 4 completely unrelated images, just to be on the safe side.

I'm not speaking in any official capacity, but if you were able to produce
SDL code which, upon changing a single character, you were able to go from
daylight city scene to desert sunset scene, I'd say more power to ya.
