I am very interested in subject question. Is there a version of POV-Ray for
Intel Itanium IA-64 architecture?
Thank you in advance,

To make it clean, I need to comare Itanium with AMD machines. So if there is
a version of POV-Ray for Itanium without GUI (just rendering engine without
user-visible output) then it suites me quite well.
With Best Regards,
Serge

The Unix version of POV-Ray 3.6 should compile on Itanium systems
without problems. Because we don't have access to any such system we
can't actually test this or supply an official binary (just in case
anyone considers to donate an Itanium system...).

Thanks! I will give it a try.
BTW, if you are interested in Itanium feedback just let me know ;)

Sure, a serious comparison (i.e. the official benchmark) would be
interesting.
