I am trying to post some pictures on povray.binaries.images forum. It does
not let you do it with the web-view, so it has to be through Outlook. So i
select "new message" and it already has "povray.binaries.images " in the
Newsgroups line, notghing in the CC line then the subject and the message
itself. Then i click send and get the following message:
"The messag could not be sent.
No sender was specified. Please check your News Account configuration"
which news Account is that?
please help

Hi
If you're using Outlook Express, go to tools > accounts > tab - news,
then 'Add'. Make sure you add - news.povray.org - , and then go to
'newsgroups' from the tools menu and select 'pov.binaries.images' and
any others you may want.
I hope that's what you wanted.

Wasn't it BorisW37 who wrote:

The OE news accounts are accessed via Tools -> Accounts -> News
You will need to have a separate News account for the povray newsgroups.
I guess you've already got one since it knows about p.b.i, check its
Properties. I you're probably somehow missing either Name or Email-
Address from the General section.
If you get past that, and get the error "povray.binaries.images could
not be resolved" it means that you've not selected the povray news
account in the News Server line.
