I made a larger update of my website, there is a new gallery:

http://www.tu-bs.de/~y0013390/pov/gallery6.html

a new introduction to raytracing and POV-Ray:

http://www.tu-bs.de/~y0013390/pov/ray_tutorial.html

description of a new POV-Ray patch:

http://www.tu-bs.de/~y0013390/fast_iso/patch.html

and some new things on the starting page:

http://www.tu-bs.de/~y0013390/

When viewing this, I get the horizontal bar so that I may see the new
addition that tells me things like "Latest image" and such, and I'm running
on 1280x960! You might want to change that to fit a more reasonable 1024x768
resolution, or make it adjust properly with whatever resolution one has.

Just a suggestion though, nice site! :-)

Or you might want to use a browser ;-)

Or Christoph might want to add an URI to the DOCTYPE, like
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
That will help for IE6. And validating will help to find a handfull
simple syntax errors.

btw I had to fiddle with my proxy settings because of the nonstandard port
(it redirects to http://www-public.tu-bs.de:8080/~y0013390/), but I guess
Christoph can't do anything about that.

Try it again, i made some changes and it looks all right in IE5@1024x768
now.

I am not sure what you mean by 'it will help' but the problem Tim
observed was due to a somewhat unreasonable table sizing.

Syntax error of the type 'missing close tag' or of the type 'missing
quotes around option'. In the latter case this is a well known issue, i
just don't have the time to modify all the different places where this
occurs.

Not really. Note that using port 8080 is not that uncommon and most
proxies can handle it (i personally have not yet seen any that does
not). Of course i none the less hate it but getting 250Mb space and
unlimited traffic for free elsewhere is not so simple...

Without that IE6 will use the quirks rendering mode, in wich it
emulates some bugs of IE5.

I was more referring to 'anchor closed more than one time'
(...height=32 hspace=2 border=0></a></a>)
and 'one quote too much' (valign="top"").

The proxy here can handle it too, only the auto-configuration script
couldn't, so I had to edit the settings manually.
