Hello all,
Microsoft released build 1218 of the AMD64bit version of Windows, so
I downloaded the 64bit version of POV 3.6 and gave her a run. My machine
is home built; AMD64 3200+, 1gb ram, dual-booting between 32 and 64 bit
version of Windows XP Pro. I ran the built-in benchmark under nearly
identical conditions:
POV64bit:

POV32bit:

I have the full results if anyone is interested. Overall I'm very
pleased with the increased performance of POV64. :)
