Hi,
I'm preparing to add next pre-processing option to SpecFlare, with probably
would be DOF.

What are the exualations for

1) size of circle on 2d picture, created by sphere with radius X that is in
distance D from camera, the formula may be relative.
I quess it's R = (X/D) * const where const depends on camera settings like
angle and image settings like ratio, size?

2) size of circle on 2d picture, create by infinite small sphere (point)
that is focal-blurred, CD is distance from camera, FD is distance from
focal point ( FD<0 - point is close to camera, FD>0 - is far).

Why do you think it is a circle ?

I'm sure this one is still infinite small after projection onto plane ;-)

If you are looking for effect like
http://www.ksp.sk/~dushan/dipl/docs/megapov.07/megapov.html#PP_Focal then you
can look into old MegaPOV... sources.
