Hi all,
Over the past few months IMP has been going through a re-organization
and facelift. All pages are now open to the public. The render farm is up
and running and has been producing some animations. If you haven't looked
at IMP in a while, I encourage you to look again. For those unfamiliar
with our project, we aim to produce movies with POV-Ray. You can read all
about the project at http://www.imp.org/

Thanks
Tom

Quite impressive actually. You guys have obviously put some time into this
project lately.

Thanks. It's funny but at least a third of the members have no interest in
POV-Ray at all. They are distributed computing enthusiasts, and just like
a cool project they can donate clock cycles to. It's like they are
saying...

"Here! Please! Take my 3 gigahertz pentium IV and render with it"

I am sure we could easily triple that with a little recruiting on the DC
sites ala a render@Home campaign

I imagine you could. The guy I work with does SETI just so he can put our
office network through it's paces at night.

That time is for the last time stats were generated. I only do it in 10
minute intervals and I leave a half hour gap at the end of the day so some
daily tasks can run at the server. I should change the wording I guess.

As for the page, thanks, but I borrowed the layout and graphics from
AWstats:

   http://awstats.sourceforge.net/

One of the best open source apps I know of. IMP uses it too:

   http://www.imp.org/cgi-bin/awstats.pl

BTW, I am in Cold Spring, NY
