Hi,

I'm looking for a util that will modify a series of TGA images with text.
In other words, if I use POV to produce 100 images for an animation, I'd
like to stick my name or e-mail address in each picture. I could do it
within POV, but with camera movement it wouldn't be easy, beside it would be
in 3D!

ImageMagick can do it. It is an X based free graphics manipulation prog
with a ton of features. There is a Win95/NT port. I think there is
also a Mac version. You cannot use the X viewing features under Win95,
but you can use the other subprograms in DOS mode. The "convert"
portion of ImageMagick will do what you want. To convert a large number
of images, feed it with a simple batch file. It is available at:

I think Autodesk Animator v1.0 and v2.0 could do the trick...
