hello guys i know i am making random stuff on POV-ray for no reason but i got a
different idea that says "what if we can make generators only using macros?".
Now i know you lazy to create a macros that can generate trees, pipes and water
drops on objects that can work great or others but idk if you guys can do it.
because im still making random arts while training my skills for like 2.5 weeks
and im also a teen (male, 13) so idk if it is a great or just a basic idea. idk
but you can guess it!

Glad you chose POV! And you came to the right place to talk about it.
I'm still making "random" art and I've been at it for 30 plus years. Making
stuff is the best way to learn POV. POV is a deep program. That is it has lots
of ideas. from the simple 3d xyz Coordinate System to the complex inter action
between light and textures.
I always thought that learning POV was like an adventure game. While playing
randomly you find a function that does something interesting and you put it your
toolbox. Then latter while working on a project that something comes up and you
say "I know how to do that!" You've kill it! So the more you play the more tools
you have. And they're your tools! You've earned each and every one.
As for your question "what if we can make generators only using macros?"
I don't understand what your "generators" would generate. Whole pictures? Ideas?
objects? Backgrounds? POV can do any of those in a limited way.
Have Fun!

Emirhan,
You can. Macro's are just text substitution with a bit of special sauce.
There are many procedural ways of creating shapes, objects or whole
scenes that can be put inside macro's.
A famous procedural generator is a Lindemayer system, or L-systems. That
can be used to create plants for example
https://github.com/t-o-k?tab=repositories search for L-system in this
page to get an idea.
There is a wealth of macro's that build things "out there".

"hello" to you too, and I hope you'll enjoy "playing" with POV-Ray for a long
time to come. regarding "generators" and "pipes" -- there is one guy who has
got "the T-shirt" :-):

Oh i was talking about creating sfuff using macros that can make random stuff
like pipes randomly generating around like 3D pipes screensaver.

I could have sworn that someone had one somewhere.
Maybe Nekar Xenos, Tekno Franansia, PM2Ring, or one of the really skilled,
prolific coders.
Absent that, maybe there's a way to make a 3D version of "snake" that doesn't
self-intersect. Maybe there's something that can be done with the A* algorithm,
or similar. Perhaps there's some sort of L-system that would work.
Look for prior art. Look in other languages and coding environments.
Check out Daniel Schiffman and the Coding Train.
Ask around on Stack Exchange, Stack Overflow, and computer graphics forums.
See what you can come up with on your own.
Part of the fun is learning. And the more you learn, the more you can stretch
out and do. Which makes it even more fun.
