Hello,
I'm looking for bamboo models to add to one of my scenes.
I don't need a very sophisticated model. The only free templates found
on the net are in 3dmax format.
<https://www.yobi3d.com/3d-file-convert> is out of order. MeshLab does
not recognize this format
Any help is welcome...
I hope i'm not off topic for this group.

Hi Norbert,
Very beautiful finish, as usual from Jaime, but it's only bamboo's
stems, no leaves :(
Thanks

[0.872 rgb <0.854, 0.67, 0.0>*0.6 ]
[1.0 rgb <0.875, 0.343733, 0.0104>*0.5 ]
}
scale <0.6, 0.2, 0.1>*5
warp {

I was able to deduce that this texture came from file TdG_Textures.inc,
and I was able to track down the file; but I haven't located the thread
in p.s-f where you posted the file, and it refers to an image on your
(erstwhile?) hard disk, <C:\VirtualReality\Data
files\images\ImageMaps\Newspaper1.png>. I cannot find this image.

Well, the texture comes originally from that file. However,
TdG_Textures.inc is not a public file and - as far as I know - has never
been posted. Newspaper1.png is just an image_map of a newspaper page
(Portuguese)...

TdG_Textures.inc.txt shows up in its entirely when I do a site search.
The URL suggests that it's attached to a post in
povray.binaries.scene-files, although I cannot find that post.

I suppose it would be easy enough to construct a PNG of Lorem ipsum.

Phew... You are correct indeed. Dec 28, 1997... Although the file
indicates version changes until 2004. I have no idea to what post this
was linked I am afraid.
