Hi all,

everyone having trouble connecting to the newsgroups via Thunderbird (or 
any other newsreader for that matter) and using Kaspersky Internet 
Security 2015, you'll want to disable monitoring of network traffic on 
port 119. For some obscure reason, even though the Kaspersky suite 
doesn't seem to be finding anything suspicious, the monitoring alone 
will scramble the connection.
