Hi,
I'm an Atarian, and I'd like to wish a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
So, I made a kick video, rendered with Persistence Of Vision, hereafter
<http://eureka.atari.org/walking.mov>
It's a PacMan dancing around a Christmas Tree. The character is modelled
in 3D2 with 3D Studio from Tom Hudson and exported with 3D2POV from Bill
Devonshire on ATARI. The tree is exported from Eureka 2.12, my software.
And remembering that 2012 is the New Year coming soon, this animation
with the PacMan tune, celebrates the "2.12". Isn't POV-Ray originally
written from DKBTrace 2.12, indeed ? This is a sign of the times :-)
I wish the best to you all.
ATARIstically yours =)

That sounds like a species from Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls, or maybe
Star Trek.

Did you know that Nolan Bushnell, the funder is welcome back to ATARI ?
It tells to every ATARIans. And there's quite a few around the world.
As a developer, I ported POV-Ray on ATARI. It is still available =)

You may not know how complicated it is to display a video on an ATARI.
And PacMan is 31 years old. So the Christmas dates from 1980 :)))))))
This 3D PacMan was first drawn in 1884.

Encountering an Atari user a couple days after watching a video about Portal
effect (from the Portal videogame) makes me feel as if we had a stargate
connected to a civilization that has not seen Back to the Future III yet.
