I have recently seen an article related to butterfly wings colors in
National Geographic Magazine.
Quite interesting, it can be summarized as "The rich, shimmering colors
of some butterfly wings are produced not by pigments, but by a special
geometric formation of cells, a new study suggests." (www.csmonitor.com)
