Hello, all.

I'm still dinking around with my sand; I've got some decent effects that
work in certain conditions, but I haven't gotton any "general purpose"
SSS working. Everything I've built breaks if you tweak the rest of the
scene too much.

Just curious--are there any articles/tutorials on media-based
sub-surface scattering with Povray out there that I've missed? I feel
like there's something simple that I'm missing, and it's probably
something that's actually common knowledge.

To be honest, almost everything I've pulled up discusses someone's
custom patch, that usually isn't available to the public, instead of
media. :-P

I saw that relevant C code is posted on Sarah Tariq's site from
her graduate project implementing SSS in Pov, it would exciting to
see included in beta.
