How would you like to use your 3D modeling skills to help some of the
poorest people on earth?
P3 is a project to put key knowledge resources on cheap handheld
computers for people living in extreme poverty. Because literacy is low
in some places, we'd like to use a virtual village as a navigation
metaphor. Different "huts" would stand for different areas of knowledge
- a medical hut would house health information, an agriculture hut
information on farming, etc. So instead of clicking on the word
"health", they might click on the medical hut.
We've put together a project page that gives the details. We also have a
mailing list and an IRC channel if you're interested in participating.
Come help us build a virtual village to help the poor!

I'm willing to help. However, I declare myself unable by any means to deal
with the registering system. I've sent and received more than four different
responses from the majordomo stuff. On top of that, convinced I was getting
nowhere with it, I sent an e-mail to the address at the site to no avail.
Maybe that's the filter... and I didn't pass :-)

Hello.
If, by any chance, this message is read (as I think the first one was
because I received a 'welcome' message), I would like to let you know that:
1- Replies to that post don't work at all -at least for me- . In a number of
six by now each one of the have been wether rejected by the server, or
refused my own host, and,
2- Last two (numbers 7 and 8) have been returned to my own address as if
they were sent by me, to myself.
Well, I think that's it. :-)
