I think that we should all study the options at the creative commons
licenses web site and develop a habit of saying which options apply to
everything from postings here to popular include files to work officially
distributed with povray.

Now that the T-shirt is already out there, I realize that not only did I
give Chris a citation, I may have violated his wishes about "commercial use"
of the product. I'd consider editing the product with a new description,
but it looks as if zazzle does not allow this. So perhaps I should delete
it: could I put up a new product if I were to give him credit?

Could I make IRTC entries which substantially make use of files included
with POV-Ray distributions? Could I make zazzle T-shirts and sell them?
That these questions are open is evidence of a crying need for a common
policy.

Sounds like a great idea, Greg, for everyone to clearly mark our works with
our preferences about their use. I'll read more at the site and see how I
may make things clear about my work.
