I am sure the 3.5 Beta has nothing to do with it...

Many of us pointed out that the old site wasn't broken.

That it wasn't broken? Well, good lord, I have a 386 that isn't
broken...but that didn't stop me from putting it up on my wall for all
to see. I rather enjoyed the newer site myself - especially the
consolidation of povray.org/links into the main povray site...very nice,
and updated. Perhaps if the pov-team does not like to update the site
much they ought to let someone who does do it? (Not a flame, I promise,
just a suggestion - I know they are REALLY busy).

My Two Cents,

Tim S.

And as Warp said "They say patience is a virtue...".

Indeed. I'd say that once POV-Ray 3.5 is out, there is a vague possibility that I
or some other team member may feel inclined to update the site. The problem is, of
course, that last time that this happened, virtually all we got was complaints. The
current site is functional, and serves a purpose, which is what really matters, IMO.

Perhaps this thread could end now ... (hint).
