Is there a place online where I can find povray textures to download. As I
build textures I would also like to have a place to put them for others to
take advantage. I have seen the texture library but it does not have a large
list. I am looking for black sand and moltant metal. I am also looking for a
good concrete and pavment.

procedural textures.

Given the power that povray has to do this I find I use bitmaps Only for
decals and the like.

Thanks. I had seen the first one already and the textures seemed rather
plain. It also seemed they had been there for some time with out updateing
so I was not sure if the site was tended to.

The second site had some good stuff and I will be glad to put textures
there. I just thought with as old as povray is that there would be a huge
site of textures. i was not even sure if I would be able to come up with new
one to add to it. If these are the only few out there I guess I can start
building textures and dumping them on the net.

Thanks. I will explore these.

Is there a repository? Or you're just talking about ripping the scene
files...

I mean hand made digging with a little help of search engine. More experienced
users with tools like http://members.home.nl/seedseven/#povextract probably
could even extract own repository.
