http://10best.raytrace.com/short/shorttable.html
It has the results and scene files.
There will be a Round Two. Trying to decide if it should be something
done by hand by myself again.

Shouldn't the mini thumbnails be links to the pictures?

btw: c42.txt and c42.pov seems linked wrong
I agree with warp thumbnails could be linked with original images.
Optionaly shortview page could be linked somehow.

Congratulations for the winners and participants.
I feel special case of winer when I add all points of my entries ;-)
I have also some unfinished/failed entries and I wonder what to do with them.
I have one question - anybody adjested brightnest of
http://10best.raytrace.com/short/ks6_800.JPG ?
Accidently I prepared this image in night and forgot about light background in
daylight contrast issue :-( That's my fault but I wonder if anybody tried to see
that.
> There will be a Round Two.
As I mentioned earlier I think this contest was very important. I have found
some bugs in 3.5 developing my entries so it was good from product view. I have
learned many things about some features so it was good from my view. It showed
power of scripts so it was good from 'advertising' view. It presented some
technics/algorithms in short form so it was good from community view. I think
that 500 chars is best limit for interesting scene. Lower amount of characters
could be just sig (I know there are short entries in contest). My proposition is
add one-word subject similiar to IRTC. It can be anything: green, car, cold,
water, star etc. In general I'm pesimist - after a few rounds number of
participants will be low.

I can help you with some automatization. Write me what you want to automate.

ahh ... thanx ...
Didn't ever think, this pic will be taken into consideration ...
It was more thought as a joke ... now ... I'm happy with that place...
... but proud ?
After I've seen what others did, and how others probably have smashed
their heads, I'm not really sure if I want to be mentioned in the same
line, as they are ...
Congrats to the winners, who really were creative for their work ...
BTW: Neither c42.txt nor c42.pov is linked to a file ...

In general I'm humble to the rules and judges. The only thing I don't understand
that from all my seven entries my worst in any category was
http://10best.raytrace.com/short/ks4_800.JPG while every person I asked here
(phisical 'here' not virtual one) said it was one of my best :-(

Specially if we add a topic. I vote for no topic.
In the IRTC a topic is good because you are completely free to do whatever
you want. However, in this contest you have a strong limitation: File size.
This greatly limits what you can do concerning a certain topic. This will
probably discourage most people (they might have really good ideas for
a 500-bytes scene, but they don't fit the topic so they just can't
participate).
So please: No topic.
