I've seen that some non-profit organizations have a donation system in which
people can donate money to them with a credit card by PayPal/Amazon or a
propietary system.

I know that buying the IRTC cd's and the keyrings is a way to support POV,
but I think that it could be very good if it could be also possible to
simply donate some money to the POV group. Would it be easy/cheap to
implement this service?

Fernando.

As has been discussed many times in the past the POV-Team is a diverse
groups of individuals scattered across the world and distribution of
funds would cause many problems for them - some of which could cause
them legal trouble. They prefer at this time to stay with their current
program of sales of items as a method to help support their online
presence.

BTW: I tried to buy the IRTC CD, got forwarded on a german server (since I
connect from Austria), filled in the form, submitted it and then it crashed
with some obscure scripting error.
Actually I don't know if any money is billed from my credit card or if I
ever get a CD.....

And: are the keyrings still available?

p.s. - To my knowledge, yes, they still are, but Lutz can fill you in on
the current availability. They are very nice, too!

Do you recall the error at all? We've had no problems with the scripts
(at least noone has told us about it :-)

At this point neither of those are going to happen, since no order was
received here. You will get a confirmation email if everything works
correctly.

> And: are the keyrings still available?
They are currently sold out, but new ones will be available in about
two weeks.

I didn't try it again yet. I was a bit in hurry, too.
I think it was caused due my Webbrowser which was Opera. It identifies
itself as MSIE 5 but still is Opera, of course.
Since I know now that no order was placed, I'll try it again by using MS IE.
Let's see if it works then.

I see.
Thanks for feedback!

Great! I just filled out an order, so I've only got 14 days to go :)

Hi Ben Chambers, you recently wrote in povray.general:

Did you fill it out with us, or with Chris? We haven't received an
order from you (unless Ben Chambers is a pseudonym).

Actually, I've been avoiding getting a credit card, so I paid my mom cash
and she filled out the order :)
