The Internet Movie Project (www.imp.org) has built a POV render farm and is
rendering a movie now. To speed things up, we need more people who have some
spare cpu time.
IMP has it's own IRC Channel. It's a great place to get a quick answer to a
qustion or some real time tech support with the imp farmer. The details you
need to connect are:
Network: irc.newnet.net
Channel: #IMP
(Check http://www.mirc.co.uk/ if you need an IRC client for windows.)
By the way, if people want to contribute to the project in another way
(coding, kix scripting, etc) they're welcome to do so!

As these are newsgroup type people in here it may be a good place to
mention the imp news server, there were no messages in any of the groups
when I looked in yesterday.
