A nice free modeller, but lacking a fundamental feature: exporting to POV.
I've talked to the mais developer, and it seems this vital request is not on
his pipe to be fulfilled for the next several months.

The solution I found (not being a developer myself...) is to export the
output to #DS and then convert it with 3ds2pov. I'll post some results soon.

I'm having trouble downloading Erlang so I can't check it out yet, but it sounds
interesting.

The need for the Erlang library is one of the single glitches I found on
this package. It is 23MB long, and that is a lot to download if you're
connected to the Net by anything smaller than ADSL. And it doesn't stop
there: after the installation, it uses up 40+MB of your hard drive.

Bjorn Gustavsson, the main developer, informed me that this situation will
be resolved in the final version, where there will be no need to download
the whole Erlang library. He expects to have a much smaller package.
