Bonjour, hello, buenas tardes, boa tarde....
Is there some one kind enough to tell me how you are building the animation
I can see in this group, in such small files.
I'd plan to post one of mine, but I'd to fight with the (reasonnable) 2Mb
limit for posting.
I'd to reduce the original one to 240*180 pixels and 500 frames, plus a very
high compression rate, and it is still very large 1744Kb.
But I'm still getting the #@#!@ error message: post greater than 2000000b.
Is it a conspiracy?
Thanks.

Don't think so. Its just the encoding scheme for adding attachments to a
post. If you hade some place on the net to store the file you could
give us a link to that so we could look at it there. That is the only
workaround that I know of.

No it is not a conspiracy. In fact now for the bad news. We really prefer
that you post no files that exceed 1 meg in size which means you need
to reduce your original file to a pre-posting file size of 700k.

Except if I find an easier way to compress my file, I think that I'll give
up. :o(
PS: I'm using cmpeg to create a first unoptimized file, an I work after with
VirtualDub to decrease the original size.

I use TMPGENC to make MPEGs, and it's nice and straightforward to use,
though there are a lot of options there when you need them. The website
is:
