I've try to build stereogram with pov. At the first time I've rendered 5
ddifferent images of 1 scene moving the camera, and then joined the
different pictures using paint. It works, but it is pain(t)ful. Do you know
any tools or trick to accelerate that, I'd like to build a movie, and I'd
like to finish it before I get bored :(.
I've posted a still example of what I expect to do at
povray.binaries.images/stereogram
Thanks.

One possible way would be to use 5 mirrors, of course it would take a few
calculations to figure out how to position them. In fact, I may work on
doing that this weekend, I did it once about a year ago with two mirrors.
or you could place the object 5 times in one scene and use light groups to
get the proper illumination.

That's an idea. In fact I was stuck by two problems:
lightning: your proposal should work,
orientation of the objects: the image at the right should be placed at the
left , but rotating objects an lights should work.
Let's try it.
Thanks
