I'm looking for a cloud/cloud transparency map for earth, and I haven't been
able to find anything that looks even halfway decent. If anyone knows about
a high res image of just the clouds, please tell me where.

You might want to try http://www.btinternet.com/~consty/render/render_f.htm I
think they might have what you are looking for.

Try David Seal's Maps of the Solar System page for Earth:

http://maps.jpl.nasa.gov/earth.html

or James Hastings-Trew's page for Earth:

Bye,
Alan.
